So what's going on out there now that we're into the third phase of Autumn’s months?

You’ll have noticed a few faces changing around the markets with the summer crops turning up their toes with the hint of a winter chill and the cosy, comfort foods coming back. May sees all of the nuts back with a vengeance and what a revelation a good one is! Remember the days before you tasted a fresh walnut or hazelnut? The stale, rancid, oily texture is a thing of the past with us now being spoilt by the creamy, sweet crunch of the new season. Not to mention a smoky roasted chestnut - make sure you get along and try them!
